“Every soul matters. Healing begins when we care for the mind as much as the body.” – Rev. John Gathanga

Mental health is a vital part of human wellbeing, yet it remains one of the most neglected health areas in Africa. The World Health Organization estimates that 1 in 4 people will experience a mental or neurological disorder in their lifetime, with over 450 million people globally currently living with such conditions.

In Africa, poverty, stigma, cultural barriers, and limited resources leave millions without the care they need. At Amariah Eco Shield, we recognize that mental health is inseparable from physical, social, and spiritual wellbeing. That’s why our Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) program is designed to bring healing, resilience, and dignity to individuals, families, and communities.
