(Families of Hope Initiative – Amariah EcoShield Africa, AMECAF)

“Every child deserves a home, every family deserves dignity.”

Why This Program Matters

Across Kenya, thousands of children and families are forced to live on the streets due to poverty, violence, unemployment, and displacement. The 2019 census estimated 46,639 people living on Kenya’s streets, with numbers rising sharply in recent years. Street life strips families of safety, dignity, and opportunity, while children lose their right to education and protection.

At AMECAF, we believe the streets are not a home—they are a cry for systemic change. Every family deserves shelter, hope, and a pathway to restoration.

Vision

A Kenya and Africa where no family calls the streets home, and every child grows in love, safety, and opportunity.
